Quest Engineering, Inc., a manufacturer of kitchen & bath cabinetry, architectural casework, closet & home organizational products, and other related items, is currently seeking an induvial for Sales Coordinator. This position is responsible for assisting the Key Account Managers and Project Managers in sales and relationship management for residential multifamily, commercial casework, and residential single-family kitchen & bath projects. This position is responsible for performing product take-offs, estimating, and preparation of proposals. This position will require the effective and efficient coordination of all project aspects, including the communication of project requirements from the customer through our project management, engineering, and production processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform product take-offs, estimating, and coordination of product data for estimating purposes.
  • Prepare and distribute product proposals.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Quest products, applications of
    products, and technical components of products.
  • Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
  • Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Assist in the development, coordinate, and execute sales strategies with executive team. Strategies to include actions to remove barriers, penetrate new market areas,
    and penetrate new product categories.
  • Maintain task list and quote log.
  • Assist in sales forecasting.
  • Maintain sales budget and sales goals tracking activities, including monthly sales activity reports and sales pipeline report.
  • Coordinate and direct activities and strategies to insure complete and accurate projects.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge of all company products and services and possess the ability to learn new products.
  • Educate both customers and internal team on new products, services, industry trends, and design options.
  • Prepare project hand-off docs and communicate all project sales info to the Submittal Managment and Project Management teams.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and feedback; including team and individual performance, pricing, competition and segment market developments to management.
  • Streamline processes and systems whenever possible.
Roles & Relationships:
  • Effectively communicate with diverse levels of customers, vendors, and associates.
  • Provide input and assistance in the development and implementation of segment and overall market planning. Lead the market planning as required.
Skills, Specifications & Requirements:
  • Five plus years of cabinetry related experience.
  • In depth knowledge of casework and customs construction methods.
  • Successful track record of sales and relationship management.
  • Successful track record of people management, both internal and external company.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Sense of urgency; ability to respond rapidly.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Software proficiencies in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with 2020 Design or AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Additional design or modeling software experience is a plus.
